Schiphol has loads of runways. At any given time there are 3 runways in use except for the very quiet periods or when there is extreme weather. Because of that the runway usage can be confusing. These little maps will show the most common ways the runways are used.
The usage of runways varies as the wind varies. The yellow arrows indicate the direction the wind is blowing too. In red you will find the direction of the planes, with the number indicating the priority.
Please be advised that the runway usage may be different than indicated here. If the weather is extremely bad the runway use can be changed. Runway 09/27 (Buitenveldertbaan) is only used during extremely strong winds from the west. Since this is highly rare I did not add an arrow to that runway. Only the most common runway uses are drawn in.
